Our Community
Our Brandon Lodge supports the community through the following :
-
Brandon Emergency Care Help Organization (ECHO) with school supplies for children that could not afford them and food donations for needy families.
-
We have a Teenager of the Month, during the school year, providing them with Savings Bonds to help their college education along with giving Scholarships.
-
Children's Therapy Services which offers free in-home physical and occupational therapy to Florida children in need.
-
Veterans Support and Outreach
-
Complimentary Dinner for the James A Haley Hospital veterans as our guests. The fourth Wednesday of the month our lodge hosts the dinner. We enjoy sharing time and fine food as part of our Adopt-A-Vet outreach.
-
Thanksgiving Dinner for the families of men and women deployed from MacDill AFB
-
Every Sunday in February, we transport the Veterans to Chapel.
-
-
In December, we adopt families that would not have a Christmas without us.
-
Our B.L.O.E. (Brandon Ladies of Elks) help support the Elk Lodge activities.
-
The Ladies purchase many articles needed in the Lodge and the Lodge Kitchen along with supporting many charities in the area.
-
They award four college scholarships each year and send 10 children (ages 9 - 13 years) to the Florida Elks Camp.
-
They provide Food Gift Certificates to the families that the Elks adopt at Christmas.
-
-
The Lodge hosts multiple Open to the Public events every month.
